ConnectMe QR launches in Asheville NC

For some of us QR Codes are the wave of right now. For some of you, it may be the way of the future. Here is a little incentive to get in on it now. A QR Code is a 2 dimensional barcode which can be translated and read by a QR Code Reader and most Smartphones. Japan created the 1st QR Code in 1994. Since then, Western Civilization has not embraced it that quickly. Many companies are established and gearing up for the QR Code to take the United States, Canada and South America by storm.

One company that is taking this leap is ConnectMe QR which is a company based out of Asheville North Carolina, a place that is becoming a haven for technology gurus. With the ConnectMe QR iPhone, iPad and Droid App, you can see a complete profile of a person or company with information and links to many online presences. On top of this, the owner of any specific QR Code can change the information that displays when the code is read. For example: Your restaurant may have a bunch of seafood that they need to use before the end of the day or week. With a few clicks, a Chef can update their daily specials that are embeded in the code. Adding a QR Code to all of the Historic building in a City can be huge! With a quick scan, you can find out the history of a building, go to their website, and see photos of the inside and out without ever entering the building. You can stop by a business storefront, scan the QR Code and bring up everything they have in stock. Window shopping at its best!!! They opportunities are endless.
